For a toned body and weight loss you don’t need to attack a Gymnasium every time. You can get a slim, muscular body at home. All you need are some dumbbells or some heavy materials lying at home. Or some iron balls or weighing balls stashed in your garage!!
A list of twenty exercises is given below that you can easily do at home for fat loss and body conditioning.
Group 1 Exercises are:
- Sit-ups
- Bodyweight Squats
- Y squats
- Prisoner Squat
- Bulgarian Squats
- Step ups
- Reverse Lunge
- Leg “Get Ups”
Group 2 Exercises are:
9.Mountain climbers
10. Simple Push Ups
11. Down Push Ups
12. Upwards pushups
13. Squat and Press
Group 3 Exercises are:
14. Bird dogs
15. Plank
16. Side Planks
17. Arm rows
18. Curls and Press
19. Leg Deadlifts
You can select one exercise each from all the three groups i.e three exercises daily for at least 20 seconds per mini circuit. You can take rest of 30 seconds in between them. When you feel you are at an advanced level you can add more mini circuits.
The 20 exercises given above are just a small example. There are dozens of other exercises also. This type of exercises help in reducing fat and can be done at home for 40 minutes daily. We would advise you to perform these exercises at home.
To get a healthy body some other exercises that can be done at home are-
Stretching Exercises- Stand near a wall, put your hands on the wall now stretch your legs in front and back. Lie down on the floor, now pull your arms and bring them to your knees .Repeat this for few minutes.
Curl Exercises- Lie down and raise your upper part of the body. Sit and lie down again and again.
Leg Exercises- You can lie down sideways. First move your left leg upwards and down and then do the with right leg in the same manner. Repeat this for at least 20 times.
Arm Exercises- You can move both your arms either by sitting or in standing position. Up wards and down. If you have dumbbells this will enable you to build muscles.
If you are always sitting at home or working on computer you can move your toes up and down. This will help in blood circulation of the body. Yoga exercises can also be done at home.
